This journey began in the heart of Uzbekistan and led me to the vibrant city of Singapore, where tradition meets innovation. My story is one of passion, adaptation, and the power of music to connect cultures and generations.
Growing Up with Classical Music in Uzbekistan
My earliest memories are filled with the sounds of classical violin pieces echoing through our home. Uzbekistan has a rich musical heritage, but classical music was a special world that felt both distant and magical. I started violin lessons at a young age, inspired by the great composers and performers I heard on the radio and at concerts.
Classical music opened a doorway for me by offering structure, discipline, and a deep emotional outlet. It taught me to listen carefully, to express feelings without words, and to appreciate the beauty of complexity. My teachers emphasized technique and tradition, which laid a strong foundation for my playing.
